ASBESTOS - Services include: site visits & inspections, plan of works, company polices & procedures, awareness, management, assistance with licence applications. 

 

o  Asbestos Awareness - Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. For construction/demolition workers, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, ground workers, painters, architects, building managers & anyone one who may come into contact with asbestos containing materials when undertaking their works.

 

o  Duty to Manage - for further detail on regulation 4 and the additional duties applied to the duty holder.

 

o  Licensed asbestos training - Regulation 10 training for licensed removal companies including 3 Day New Operative/Supervisor, 1 Day Operative /Supervisor Refresher, 2 Day New Manager/1 Day Manager Refresher & assistance with TNA compliance.

 

o  Non-licensed training - Regulation 10 training for drilling, painting or carrying out general maintenance activities that involve non-licensed asbestos containing materials, which also includes the notifiable non-licensed work requirements, completion of ASBNNLW1 form & specific training on HSG 210.

 

o  Scaffolding Ancillary course for operative, supervisor and manager - for those undertaking asbestos licensed scaffolding activities, includes theory and practical training requirements.

o  Asbestos in soils – Regulation 10 training to include the modules on awareness which are bespoke to the risk of working on a site with contaminated ground/soils and the safe working methods that can be applied. This course can be bespoke to include additional training on the selection, inspection and safe use of PPE/RPE and decontamination procedures.
